Setup guide

From zip to a working store in about 30 minutes. Follow the steps in order; each one ends with a quick check so you know it worked.

Before you start

Have these ready. The wizard asks for all of them.

  • Your licence email from us: licence number (LIC-xxxxx), Main Key (32 characters) and Backup Key (16 characters). Keep the Backup Key offline; it's only for moving or recovering your licence.
  • The zip: kedaipabz-kit-v1.x.x.zip.
  • Hosting: PHP 8.3 or newer, MySQL 8 or MariaDB 10.6+, File Manager or SSH access, and cron jobs. Hostinger Business or Cloud works well.
  • A domain or subdomain for your store, with SSL switched on.
  • Your own accounts: REDX (game top-ups), Xavierastore (premium and SMM, on Pro and Ultimate) and ToyyibPay (payments). Keep their API keys open in another tab.

The first domain you activate on is the one your licence is locked to. Install on your real domain, or ask us to add a staging domain first.

Database, files and domain

Step 1: Create a database

In your hosting panel, create a MySQL database and a user with all privileges on it. Write down the database name, username and password.

Step 2: Upload and unzip

  1. Make a folder for the store, for example public_html/mystore.
  2. Upload the zip into it with File Manager.
  3. Extract it there. You should see folders like app, public, storage and vendor directly inside mystore.
  4. Delete the zip.

Step 3: Point your domain at the public folder

Set your domain's (or subdomain's) folder to public_html/mystore/public. On Hostinger, that's under Domains or Subdomains. Only the public folder should be reachable from the web.

Check: open https://yourdomain.com/install. You should see the setup wizard.

The setup wizard

If a page fails, reload it. The wizard remembers where you were.

  1. Welcome: checks your server. Every line should be green. If one is red (usually the PHP version), fix it in your hosting panel and reload.
  2. Activate your licence: paste your Main Key. It's linked to the domain you're on. Moving from another domain or lost the Main Key? Use the Backup key box on this screen instead.
  3. Database: the details from Step 1. The tables are created for you.
  4. Your store: store name, contact details and what your features are called (for example, your wallet's name).
  5. Admin account: the email and password you'll log in with. Use a strong password.
  6. Suppliers & payments: your REDX, Xavierastore and ToyyibPay keys. You can skip any and add them later.
  7. Ready to install: check the summary, then finish.
  8. Your store is ready: copy the cron job line shown here before you leave. Setup then locks itself so nobody can run it again.

After installing

  1. Add the cron job. In Hostinger: Advanced → Cron Jobs, choose Custom, paste the line from the last wizard screen and set it to every minute. Without it, payments aren't checked, orders don't deliver and reminders stop.
  2. Brand your store. Admin → Branding: name, logo, colours, favicon and mascot.
  3. Check your licence. Admin → Store licence → Check now. It should say Active with your plan and dates.
  4. Load your catalogue. Sync REDX products and set your prices.
  5. Place a small real order with ToyyibPay and make sure it's delivered. That proves your keys work.

Running your store

Your licence

Admin → Store licence shows your plan, paid-until date, support plan and grace date. Your store checks in with us about every 12 hours and keeps working for up to 7 days if it can't reach us.

Renewing

Tap Renew or upgrade on the Store licence page, or open kedaipabz.xyz/renew. Enter your licence number and the last 4 characters of your Main Key, pick a plan and length, and pay with DuitNow QR or FPX. Tick Add support for one-to-one help (RM149 for 1 month). Then tap Check now in your store.

Updates

When a new version is out, Admin → Updates shows what changed. Tap Update now. A backup is made first, and if the store doesn't open afterwards the update undoes itself. You can also tap Undo last update. If you've edited any of our files, they're listed before you update and backed up. On hosts with short time limits, run php artisan kp:update over SSH instead.

New domain, or lost your Main Key

Upload the store to the new domain, open /install, and on the Activate screen use your Backup Key. It issues a new Main Key and moves the licence; the old Main Key stops working. You can do this up to 3 times in 30 days.

Troubleshooting

ProblemFix
/install shows a 404 or a folder listThe domain isn't pointing at the public folder. Redo Step 3.
Blank page or "500" in the wizardCheck PHP is 8.3+ in your hosting panel, then reload. The wizard picks up where it stopped.
"Database connection failed"Re-check the name, user and password. On Hostinger they start with your account prefix, like u123456789_.
"This licence belongs to another domain"Your licence is locked to the first domain you used. Use your Backup Key to move it.
"Licence key not found"Copy the Main Key again from our email. Spaces and dashes don't matter, every character does.
Orders stuck on "Pending"The cron job isn't running. See "After installing", step 1.
Payments not confirmingCheck your ToyyibPay secret key and category code, and that your site has SSL.
An update failedIt undid itself and your store is as before. Email us the message it showed.

Email admin@kedaipabz.xyz with your licence number, domain and a screenshot. Updates and bug fixes are free while your licence is active. One-to-one help with setup and features needs the support add-on, which you can add on the renewal page.
